Expert Witness

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, actively engaged in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. I have advanced expertise in the following topics:

• Suicide

• Adult ADHD

• Process and Substance Use and Abuse

• LGBQ and Transgender Issues

I hold a BA in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Texas State University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a minor is Psychoanalytic Theory from the APA Accredited Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I’m diversely trained and experienced in clinical settings and with adult clients as well as a published author and speaker, researcher, graduate professor, and startup entrepreneur.

I completed an APPIC accredited pre-doctoral internship through the Lake Michigan consortium at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital in 2010. In addition to inpatient and IOP group and individual psychotherapy, I was responsible for clinical supervision of trainees and management of a LGBTQ graduate training consortium between Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, Howard Brown Health Center, and the Center on Halsted.

Training and experience includes adult and adolescent psychological testing and award-winning research.
